Evesham Archery Club

About the Club

Evesham Archery Club was founded over 40 years ago. Since then we have hosted annually both indoor and outdoor open tournaments, and have had national champions and national team archers amongst our members.

Current membership covers the whole 10 to 70+ age range, and as well as members taking part in and organising tournaments, we try to provide a friendly atmosphere for archers of all abilities. We have a number of families belonging to the Club, and organise social events.

During the summer we shoot at Badsey Recreation Club, Brewers Lane, Badsey, nr. Evesham.  Club evenings are Wednesdays, but as the Club has its own field, members are also able to shoot at other times.

During the winter we shoot at Wallace House in Evesham, again on Wednesday evenings. We also shoot at Prince Henry's High School in Evesham on Thursday evenings for part of the winter season.

We run Beginners' courses throughout the summer on Thursday evenings at Badsey.  If you are interested, please phone Club Coach Ian Trout on 01386831509. After completion of these courses, beginners are able to join the Club, if they wish. We equally welcome archers who have previously shot at other clubs.

Beginners' Courses

In 2010 we will again be running three 5-week courses on Thursday evenings, at Badsey, starting on May 6th, June 24th and Aug 12th. For more information, click here.

If you're interested in giving archery a go at a friendly Club, then ring Ian Trout to reserve a place or to ask any questions.
